Duties:

  • Provide direct patient care in hospitals.

  • Assess patient conditions and develop appropriate care plans.

  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.

  • Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or abnormalities.

  • Perform specialized procedures such as phlebotomy and tube feeding.

  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

  • Educate patients and their families on health management and disease prevention.

  • Maintain accurate medical records using electronic health record systems like Athenahealth.

  • Adhere to infection control protocols to prevent the spread of diseases.

Requirements:

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

  • Experience in pediatrics, triage, acute care, or a related field is highly desirable.

  • Proficiency in medication administration and dosage calculations.

  • Ability to phlebotomize and perform laboratory tests accurately.

  • Knowledge of alimentation techniques such as tube feeding.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.

  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

  • Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and privacy.
